What a great Ride/Cruise

Blair and I would like to thank everyone that joined us this year. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was great, the leaves were gorgeous, and the company was the best part. I loved meeting all of you. I hope you enjoyed yourself and that we made it worth coming back next year for.

I wanted to let you all know, that with the money raised from the ride/cruise, we are now able to help around 90 animals; that is everything from spays, neuters, and vaccines. I can't begin to tell you how excited the staff at the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter are just knowing we can help lower the cost of the adoptions and help keep them healthier as they await the day they get to go to a forever home. The sad thing is, we receive FAR more animals than 90 and we are always in need of donations. Please tell your friends and family members to join us next year.  Our goal is to make it even bigger, and we need everyone help in doing so. Blair and I may organize this, but it's all because of your BIG hearts and willingness to help that made it such a success!

I know there are many pictures of the ride out there,  but I thought I would post some of those that I was able to capture. It's not easy snapping pictures from the back of a motorcycle, but it was sure fun to see how well they turned out.

I personally want to thank Blair Kerby for letting me be part of this. I've told most of you my dream. When I was a little girl I would sit on my grandparents front porch in Fountain Green and watch all the motorcycle rides go down main street. I would smile and wave to all of them. I would imagine myself on one, and dream that one day I would be on one in a ride. Also, whenever we went on a family vacation and we would see a group of motorcycles my dad would always say "there goes your ma and I in a few years". My parents have never been on one, but my dad was able to join us this year with his truck and trailer as a back up. Thank you for letting me live out my dream. While we were on the ride, we passed a couple of little kids on the road side that was waving. It brought a tear to my eye and I gave them a HUGE wave back. I was living the dream, once sitting where they had sat.
